Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical value of periareola single incision multiple benign breast lumpectomy.Methods 227 patients received periareola single incision multiple benign breast lumpectomy.Retrospectively analyzed patients' surgery procedure and postoperative pathological diagnosis results,evaluated the clinical value of the technique in accordance with follow-up data.Results 526 masses in 227 patients were completely resected.The average operative time was (42 ± 6.8) min,the average blood loss was (27 ± 4.6) ml.Pathological diagnosis showed multiple breast fibroadenoma was the most common,328 masses in 143 cases,accounting for 62.99% and 62.36% respectively.The average follow-up time was (11.3 ± 2.6) months.Areola incisions of all patients healed by first intention,without skin necrosis or hematoma.Scars were not obvious.Ultrasound showed no tumor recurrence.Breast shape and appearance were not significantly different from those before operation,which were normal,with plump nipples and normal blood supply.Patients' overall satisfaction rate was 97.80%.Conclusions Periareola single incision multiple benign breast tumor resection in the treatment of benign masses has an important value.The method can achieve the desired therapeutic purposes and meet the needs of patients on the appearance of minimally invasive,with high postoperative satisfaction rate,worthy of clinical application.
