Abstract
Knowledge of the location of a target organ is critical during external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) to optimize therapy and minimize complications. The Calypso® 4D Localization System (Calypso Medical, Seattle, WA) is being developed to provide accurate, precise, objective and continuous target localization during EBRT. The study objectives were to evaluate implant experience and positional stability and reliability with the implanted transponders.
