Abstract
Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are linked to negative health outcomes in both mothers and their children. Increasingly, data demonstrate that the effects of maternal ACE exposure may span generations and are distinct from prenatal stress. This presentation will explore the relation between both maternal preconception and prenatal stress, placental telomere length (TL), maternal postnatal depression, and infant respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA).
