21st ESPU Annual Meeting

Abstract

Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the Organising Committee and ESPU board, we have the honour of inviting you to Antalya, Turkey, on the occasion of the 21st ESPU Annual Meeting, which will be held from April 28th – May 1st, 2010. Since the first meeting in Amsterdam in 1990, the ESPU has come a long and a very successful way. The Annual Meetings of the ESPU have shown a remarkable expansion and it has become a leading meeting with high-standard scientific presentations and discussions combined with a pleasant social gathering. With the spirit received from the previous congresses, we will again aim to bring all of our members and colleagues together in an exceptionally nice atmosphere. During the meeting in 2010 we will be able to allow more time for keynote lectures and panel discussions. We will also have new “tips and tricks” sessions during which internationally renowned experts will present their lifelong experience on some specific topics and surgical procedures. There will also be several pre-congress events and symposia. As usual we will have many high quality oral and poster presentations in clinical as well as basic science and we will promote good discussion with discussed poster sessions. Antalya"Turkish Riviera" assumes its name with its numerous archeological traces and natural beauties. The unique harmony of the sparkling sea, sun, mysteries of an important history and nature make Antalya a tranquil retreat of heaven with the most beautiful and clear coast lines. We are aiming to mount up a very friendly and a memorable social gathering in Antalya within the outstanding atmosphere of the Susesi Hotel - our venue for the meeting. There will be several social events, including local shows by internationally known groups, sports activities, beach parties and many more surprises.
