Abstract
With the implementation of the LAS in 2004, the only variable used from the six-minute walk test is the distance walked. Current research indicates that walk speed may have better prognostic value than distance alone. The purpose of this study was to examine the 6MW test performance for speed and distance and the relationship to LAS in an urban transplant center.
