Abstract

Condom use rates are low among adolescent women using hormonal contraceptives and those with prior STI diagnoses and unintended pregnancies. Optimizing reproductive outcomes for high risk adolescent women requires successful engagement in risk-reduction skills building. We explored differences in engagement in sexually transmitted infection (STI) and HIV education among young women with and without a history of an adverse reproductive outcomes participating in a health coaching intervention to improve contraceptive use.
