Abstract
In hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), both liver disease status and tumor factors determine the prognosis. In such context, Okuda stage, Cancer of the Liver Italian Program (CLIP) score, and Japan Integrated Staging Score (JIS) score are currently used in staging of HCC. The purpose of the present study was to compare the validity of theses staging systems, as well as to identify which staging system provides the most accurate prognostic value in HCC patients treated with radiotherapy.
