Abstract
FabLab is a small-scale workshop offering personal digital fabrication. FabLab program was started at the Media Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002, broadly exploring how the content of information relates to its physical representation, and how a community can be powered by technology at the grassroots level. In Japan, two FabLab started in Kamakura and Tsukuba and have increased the number. The progress of personal digital fabrication has brought about the change to production by mass from mass production. This movement is also called the third Industrial Revolution. This paper describes the role of a technical high school in the progress of digital fabrication
