Abstract

Organic thermoelectric materials have the advantages of low cost, lightweight, mechanical flexibility, and large-area processability and can be used to make portable and flexible energy sources for wearable/portable devices. In this chapter, we introduce the research progress in developing high-performance organic thermoelectric materials and devices, and charge transport mechanisms. Current trends in pursuing high thermoelectric performance with organic materials and composites are also discussed.
