Abstract

Although current guidelines support the use of EET in patients with Barrett’s esophagus (BE)-related neoplasia, quality indicators (QIs) for performing EET are lacking. With the healthcare shift from volume-based to value-based practice, there has been an increased emphasis to develop QIs that are evidence based, reliable and feasible.
