Abstract

Most recommendations to prevent early pregnancies suggest sexual health and contraceptive education to teenagers, because of their lack of knowledge in how to avoid unwanted pregnancies and STDs. Also, multiple characteristics influence contraceptive selection and appropriate counseling and supplemental support to help women clarify their preferences is needed. Therefore, we report the overall sexual health and contraceptive awareness in pregnant Mexican teenagers.
