Abstract

ing insulin was 30.27 m/s (±3.2), and 13.75 m/s (±2.7) taking oral therapy. Amplitudes for the examined motor and sensitive nerves are lower in patients taking oral antidiabetics. Conclusion: A group of patients taking insulin therapy in comparison to patients taking oral therapy is found to have better motor and sensitive conduction velocities, higher amplitude of evoked potentials for the examined nerves and lower muscle weakness.
