Abstract
The new election model introduced into the electoral system of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2015 has brought satisfactory changes, but in general, along with the growth of confidence in the electoral system, corruption has also increased. Before the introduction of automatically reading ballot boxes, biometric passports and electronic voter lists into the electoral system, the subject of bribery was members of a state body, now the main subject is a voter (citizen). Bribery of voters is one of the most powerful factors affecting the freedom of speech of voters, and we have seen how significant its influence was in the elections of October 4, 2020 and May 28, 2023. Today it is necessary to continue the reform of the electoral system, as it is necessary to solve the issues of vote buying.
