Abstract
It is now a year since a power shift in Washington, with President Biden being sworn into the White House and the Democratic party gaining control of both houses of Congress. As expected, certain changes came to the NLRB. A new General Counsel and new Democratic appointees shifted the labor law landscape to a considerable pro‐union tilt. Similarly, the media have been replete with stories of worker outrage. It seems on an almost daily basis, workers from various industries or locations are channeling Howard Beale's famous quote from the 1976 movie classic “Network,” “I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!”
