Abstract

The article is dedicated to the great representative of Turkish Sufi poetry of the XIII-XIV centuries, Yunus Emre. His works made a significant contribution to the development of Turkish folk literature and poetry and laid the foundation for Turkish versification. Yunus Emre is considered to be the founder of Anatolian Turkish poetry. The article will be especially appealing to those interested in Near Eastern poetry.
