Then the Korea Youth Risk Behavior web-based Survey and Panel Study on Korean children were used as preferred sources of data. The collected results were analyzed according to the indicators and benchmarks set by Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance.BR Results: The proportion of children and adolescents in Korea was high in active transportation and physical fitness while the proportion of children and adolescents participating in organized sports and physical activity was moderate level, but sedentary behavior, overall physical activity and active play were low. Family and peers, school, community and built environment, and government& investment have not been investigated due to lack of available evidence.BR Conclusion: Although Korean children and adolescents showed various participation rates in the field of physical activity, most Korean children and youth were not physically active. More evidence and effort at the national level are required for the comprehensive assessment of indicators, and more support and government investment are needed to improve in all indicators.
