First, in the type of illustration and the type of illustration by subject area, both elementary school science textbooks and authorized science textbooks had the highest proportion of photography. Second, in the function of the basic science process skills shown in the questionnaire, observation accounted for the highest proportion of both elementary school science textbooks and authorized science textbooks. Third, in the material domain, the proportion of observation and life area was high, and the proportion of communication increased in the motion and energy domain, and in the earth and space domain.
