Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the appropriateness of the standards of language art section of the 2015 Korean Language Curriculum. In doing so, 104 Korean teachers evaluated the standard under three heads; the content validity, the clarity of expression, the hierarchy of the contents standards. Then, the result were analyzed into system of content of 2015 Korean Language National Curriculum; (1) Nature, (2) Discourse / Text type, & Media, (3) Element, Process, & Strategy, (4) Attitude. However some newly-organized standards were under ‘validityʹ because of the difficulty of instruction and evaluation. First, the standard of Nature category showed under the clarity of expression. Second, the standard of Discourse/Text type were appropriate than other category. Third, the newly-standard of Element, Process, & Strategy category were under appropriateness. Lastly, the standard of Attitude category were appropriate than Nature category.
