Abstract
Eskisehir became the capital of the Turkish World in 2013. This has provided Eskisehir a number of achievements in the field of cultural tourism as well as in the field of culture. Within this event, more than 400 events and 350 projects have been organized for a year. In this context, approximately 100 thousands of people from 20 countries have accommodated during different periods and 300 thousands of people have visited the city for a one-day period. Hotels in the city worked with a 90% average occupancy rate during this time. In addition, the Turkish industrialists and businessmen in Turkish World came to the city in connection with this event and Eskisehir was introduced to the Turkish World by this means. Thus, being the culture capital of Turkish World has brought a great value to the city
