Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı okul öncesi dönemde erken okuryazarlık alanıyla ilgili yapılmış ulusal lisansüstü tez çalışmalarının incelenmesidir. Son yıllarda adını sıkça duyduğumuz erken okuryazarlık kavramı ile ilgili doküman incelemesi modeli kullanılarak yapılan araştırmada, Yüksek Öğrenim Kurulu (YÖK) veri tabanından “erken okuryazarlık” anahtar sözcüğü kullanılarak ulaşılan 19 lisansüstü tez, betimleyici özellikleri (üniversite, enstitü, anabilim dalı, yılı, dili), araştırma yöntemi, araştırma modeli, çalışma grubu, veri toplama aracı, veri toplama yöntemi, araştırma yöntemi, araştırma konusu, araştırma sonuçları ve önerileri incelenmiştir. Lisansüstü tezlerden elde edilen veriler nicel ve nitel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Nicel verilerin frekans ve yüzde değerleri, nitel veriler ise içerik analizi yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda erken okuryazarlık konusu ile yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin 2019 yılında artış gösterdiği, nicel çalışmaların çoğunlukta olduğu, örneklem grubunun çoğunluğunu 5-6 yaş grubu çocukların oluşturduğu, erken okuryazarlık ile ilgili yapılan eğitim ve müdahale programlarının etkili olduğu, ebeveyn özelliklerinin erken okuryazarlık becerileri üzerinde etkili olduğu bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. İleride yapılacak çalışmaların yöntem, analiz, çalışma grubu gibi özellikleri açısından çeşitlendirilmesi, öğretmen ve ebeveynlere yönelik eğitimler düzenlenmesi ile ilgili önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
