Abstract
Without a doubt, our annual photo contest is one of the highlights of the year. Here in the office, anticipation grows as the deadline approaches; entries segue from a slow, regular trickle to a thundering cascade of images. And then-the unveiling. Viewing the array of stunning photos is almost a visual overload, albeit an incredibly pleasant and inspiring one. Now the difficult part begins. Selecting a handful of shots from a room filled with one stunning photo after another is definitely not a job for the faint-hearted. Each entry reminds us of the weather's mystique, from billowing clouds of dust to soothing iced strawberries. Deliberations are coupled with appreciation for the skill and caprice involved in capturing this magic on film. Alas, we can only select a few. We hope that you will enjoy this year's winners and look forward to your entries in 2005.
