Abstract

The competitions nowadays, well competition rule was one of the important reasons that could influence in the fairness. WTF tried to apply the Taekwondo for the official Games in Olympics. They changed some of the rules in October 2001. The most important parts are: the more bigger competition arena, the shorter female match time, the broader effective point pmt, the athlete need to weight the day before the competition and so on. To simplify the against actions let the referee execute more easier and also let the spectators understand the rules more simple. For the amount of audience, the most attractive game and the ratio of seeing and hearing, the rules changed never stop.The purpose of this article were: coaches and athletes understand the new trend of competition rules changed, familiar with the transformation of the competition rules and prepared the international competitions earlier.It used two different methods: one was to analyze the literature. This method was collecting all the relative data about the new rules changed. And then analyze, integrate and confer all these data to understand the development of the rules changed. The other was to interview people. Caused of the limitation of the time and space, it is not easy to find the historical data. Therefore, we interviewed the predecessors of Taekwondo to understand the historical literatures.The training content was based on the rules. The training took effect cause of the rules. Therefore, the director should know transformation of the competition rules well. And then, they could control new information and provide the policy that can fit the bill.
