Abstract

The S-band accelerating module under development at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics has been designed with a beam energy of up to 200 MeV and is aimed at optimizing costs of the injector of the c-τ-factory. An injector equipped with a set of such modules will be able to produce the required beam energy. The module includes the following equipment: a klystron with a modulator and a control system, a power compressor, phase shifters, four accelerating sections, the loads, and waveguide elements. This module can be used in scientific and production facilities where linear accelerators are required.
