Abstract

This study was a prior study to develop leggings patterns suitable for the body type of women in their 20s, the main consumer of athleisure leggings. It aimed to find out the wearing status of leggings among university students in their 20s and the preference of athleisure leggings. The study was conducted on 189 female students in their 20s and was conducted through the Google Questionnaire. The analysis utilized the SPSS 26.0 program. Leggings had a high preference for basic leggings designs that were worn for exercise and were closely attached to black ankles, and often complained of discomfort in the Y-zone area. Many complained of discomfort with waist exposure during operation. Preferred brands had the most Adidas and wanted to add body correction to leggings. When purchasing a preferred brand, satisfaction was high in most items such as design, dimensions, material, activity, and durability. When leggings were purchased in consideration of the fabric, satisfaction with the sewing status was high, and when purchased in consideration of the brand, satisfaction with the price was high. Future research will require a more comprehensive survey of age groups and men.
