Abstract
The title compound, C6H5NO2, a tautomer of 2-hydroxynicotinic acid, adopts a planar conformation. An intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond of 2.504 (2) Å is found. The compound forms one-dimensional hydrogen-bonded chains along the [\overline{1}01] direction via an intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bond of 2.810 (2) Å.
