Abstract
η 2-Dimethylamino(thio)carbene complexes of molybdenum and tungsten are formed reacting the tricarbonylmetallates of molybdenum and tungsten [LM(CO) 3] − (L = Cp, η 5-C 5(CH 3) 4CH 2CH 3, HBpz 3, HB(pzMe 2) 3) with dimethylthiocarbamoylchloride. The structures of the new η 2-thiocarbene complexes were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.
