Abstract
コレステロール塞栓症は動脈硬化病変のプラークが破綻しコレステロール結晶が末梢の細い動脈に詰まることにより生じる疾患である．発症には血管内操作などの誘因のあることが多い．Blue toe syndromeやlivedo reticularisと呼ばれる皮膚症状と腎機能障害がみられることが多いが，見逃されていることも多い疾患である．確立した治療法はなく，予防，支持療法，再発防止が重要である．
