Abstract
Minute amounts of 2-acetylamino-5-hydroxyhexanoic acid (1) and its succinyl derivatives (2a) and (2b) as their lactones, and 2,3-diacetoxy-2-methylbutanolide (3) were isolated from kobutorisou, an antagonizing plant to nematode, after Ac 2 O-treatment of the anti-nematode fraction of extracts of kobutorisou.
