Abstract
Knowledge is limited regarding the adverse effects of therapeutic glucocorticoids on pediatric mental health outcomes. Glucocorticoid-induced psychosis (GIP) is a rare but severe side effect of high-dose glucocorticoid therapy in children and adolescents. This study identified all reported pediatric cases of true GIP, based on DSM-5 criteria, and defined the presentation, treatments, and outcomes of this condition.
