Abstract
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is widely used for the treatment of depression in adults. There are knowledge and evidence gaps with respect to the application of TMS for adolescents with treatment-resistant depression. Recent studies have increasingly examined sequential bilateral treatments as a dosing strategy for both adults and adolescents with depression, suicidal ideation, and co-occurring conditions. This study sought to retrospectively examine off-label, naturalistic, sequential bilateral 1 Hz (right-sided) and 20 Hz (left-sided) TMS treatments in adolescents.
