Abstract
Over the last decade, mental health (MH)-related emergency department (ED) visits have significantly increased. The majority of the current data is focused on adolescents and adults, but there is limited information on children <12 years. Our study’s objective was to determine utilization patterns of psychiatric emergency services by children under 12 years of age and the associated clinical factors.
