Abstract
Nearly 10% of Americans will suffer from a substance use disorder (SUD) in their lifetime. Prior work has shown that individuals at risk for SUDs show dysfunction in frontostriatal responsiveness to reward and in connectivity between frontostriatal regions. However, very little work to date has investigated alterations in local connectivity within frontostriatal regions that are associated with risk for SUDs.
