Abstract
Peracid oxidation of S -(2,3-dichloroarryl) was S -(2,3,3-trichloroallyl) thiocarbamates yields 2-chloroacrolein and 2-chloroacrylyl chloride, respectively, via intermediate S -allyl thiocarbamate sulfoxides and S - O -allyl thiocarbamate sulfenate esters.
