Abstract

Universal behavioral disorder screening in primary care could be the key in early detection and effective treatment in children and adolescents. The study objective was to assess the effect of travel distance to the nearest primary care providers (PCP) and its variations across patients’ race/ethnicity on the behavioral screening rates among children and adolescents enrolled in a large Medicaid Managed Care plan.
