Abstract

Design of a K-Band series-fed microstrip antenna array of 1X64 is reported here. For Amplitude Distribution Section wise impedance matching is used. The desired amplitude distribution and sidelobe level can effectively realize in a compact way using this feeding method. Designed antenna is for 24 GHz to 24.3 GHz frequency band with 22dBi gain, Beam-width of 1.7 degree and sidelobe level of -30dBi. The designed low-sidelobe antenna has great practical value in antenna of portable radar with high resolution
