Abstract
Recently, the number of elderly people with dementia is increasing, and more than half of them living at home. Robot therapy is expected to have psychological, physiological and social effects as well as animal therapy. Especially, therapeutic seal robot, Paro is used in various facilities for elderly and spreading in the world. However, its efficacy was mostly examined at elder care facilities and hospitals. In this research, we developed acceleration data logging system that records the state of robot therapy for elderly people with dementia living at home.
