Abstract
This paper introduces a communication system with high presence between remote intelligent spaces. In this system, cameras distributed in the intelligent space detect a target person. 3D shape of the target person is reconstructed and sent to the other intelligent space for communication. Real-time 3D reconstruction of the target person must be achieved. In this paper, images captured by cameras in the intelligent space are integrated in a computer with GPU. 3D reconstruction based on visual cone intersection is implemented on GPU. High speed reconstruction was achieved with the implementation.
