Abstract
Entertainment is one of the successful fields in robot industry, and especially, the typical entertainment robot is the small humanoid robot. To offer the people new elements of entertainment, we focused on figure skating. In the previous research, we realized a straight sliding and turning motion using small skating robot which is made in our laboratory. However, it is difficult to regard as a figure skating. Because, the characteristic of the figure skating is a sport composed of various high techniques such as spin, step and jump. Especially, the spin is splendid motion. Therefore, in this study, we focused on spin motion, "swizzle spin" by small skating robot.
