Abstract
The 1993 Annual Coupling, Energetics and Dynamics of Atmospheric Regions (CEDAR) meeting will be held from June 21 to June 26, in Boulder, Colo. Both workshops and tutorials will be featured.A Data Analysis School at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is being organized by Jeffrey Forbes for June 26. It will emphasize the analysis of time series data with gaps and will give each speaker the same data set to look at the different analysis techniques. Several topics to be discussed are digital signal processing, spectral methods, Fourier techniques, fast Fourier transforms, periodograms, nonstationary time series (such as 2‐day waves), wavelets, and curve fitting.
