Abstract
Jeanne LeVasseur is a poet and a professor of nursing at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. Her poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Nimrod, Spoon River Poetry Review, the Iowa Review, JAMA, and AJN (May 2013), as well as in the anthologies Between the Heartbeats: Poetry and Prose by Nurses (University of Iowa Press, 1995) and Intensive Care: More Poetry and Prose by Nurses (University of Iowa Press, 2003). “1982” © 2014 by Jeanne LeVasseur.
