Abstract

Introduction and aims: The literature on COVID-19 suggests that the disease’s clinical manifestations are similar between non-pregnant and pregnant women. However, the latter are at increased risk of severe illness. We aimed to characterize the population and obstetric outcomes in pregnant women with COVID-19. Methods: Cohort study which included the cases of COVID-19 during pregnancy at a tertiary hospital between March 2020 and March 2021. Results and discussion: We included 103 cases of women with SARS-CoV-2 infection during pregnancy.
