1970 Graduate Theses Mission and Related Subjects

Abstract

In compiling the annual theses list, inquiries were sent to 135 schools and seminaries in the United States and overseas. As a matter of policy, B. D. and M. R. E. theses are not included. A few titles represent theses accepted prior to 1970, about which information had not been received when the list of 1968–69 Graduate Theses went to press in February 1970. Any inquiry should be addressed to the school where the thesis was submitted, not to the Missionary Research Library nor the Editorial Office. An asterisk * indicates that the dissertation has been microfilmed. DA indicates dissertation abstract published by University Microfilms. UM indicates the order number for microfilms which may be ordered from University Microfilms, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48106. Reader cooperation is sought in compiling the listing scheduled for publication in December, 1971, of Graduate Theses in Mission and Related Subjects accepted during 1971. Pertinent information may be sent to the Editorial Office at the address listed above. Note: The general listing below is by author, alphabetically, with each thesis assigned a serial number. The subject index then classifies each thesis, identifying its relation to one or more subjects, by use of its serial number and short title.
