Abstract

This paper focuses on two films produced and performed in 1974 to examine the perception of ‘comfort women’ in the Korean and Japanese societies before the 1990s. It is a movie “Women’s Dei Shin Tai” and “The Japanese military comfort women” produced and performed in Korea and Japan in 1974. In order to visualize the significance and problems that each film has in the area of “Comfort women” related discourses and representations, first of all, “Korean comfort women” have been represented in post-war Japanese popular culture You need to find out. The novel “syunpuden” depicting the love and death of Japanese soldiers and “Korean comfort women”, Has been filmed three times in postwar Japan.
