Abstract
This research is to study that Huo Cheng Ye positively impelled the fine arts education when he serves the post of Feng-Yuan elementary school principal during 1952 to 1963. The research goal is to constructs completely image in Taiwan fine arts education development through the discussion of Huo Cheng Ye’s ideas and the practices in fine arts education for reviewing nowadays fine arts education. The research to take interview as the main data , Huo cheng Ye’s historical documents as auxiliary data. To go through the literature on the subject to analysis the data with to compose the paper. The outcomes is that Huo cheng Ye’s ideas and the practices in fine arts education come from Shan Penting’s ideas of free painting which consist with Rowen’s ideas of the tool which takes the child as the center. Huo cheng Ye’s ideas and the practices in fine arts education for beautifying the environment, nurturing teachers in fine arts, promoting teaching quality in fine arts; By the entire school fine arts competition impetus fine arts atmosphere, and training fine arts contestant, get excellent successes in the national student fine arts competition and the international child drawing competition; The idea of collective creation originated at that time and to encourage fine art teachers to observe the process in teaching each other. To analyzes Huo cheng Ye’s ideas and the practices in fine arts education. Teachers and textbooks in fine arts education had lacked in postwar Taiwan. Huo cheng Ye absorbed new knowledge in fine arts education, in addition the artistic achievement and theory benefit one another. Finally , because of the principal's educational administration status, positively impels the fine arts education to the modern education. This research constructs Huo cheng Ye’s ideas and the practices in fine arts education , to provide the foundation for the following researcher.
