Abstract
Artists today experience a transformation into a hybrid thinking system in a rapidly changing world. Artists produce a variety of cultural exchanges and information and recreate it in a new style. Minhwa, Korean folk art, is a painting that implies Korean traditional aesthetic consciousness and emotions and is a popular aesthetic expression containing the lives and philosophy of ordinary people. This study examines the works of Hwajodo, which had the most famous value among Korean folktales in the late Joseon Dynasty.
