Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of depression from COVID-19 and career anxiety on career indecision among college students majoring in hospitality and tourism. Based on the online questionnaire, a total of 288 responses were collected and analyzed. The regression analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0. The major findings of this study indicate that depression from COVID-19 has a significant effect on career anxiety and career anxiety affects the four of the five sub-factors of career indecision except for a lack of necessity recognition. This study provides practical implications to alleviate psychological difficulties and career stress among the college students majoring in hospitality and tourism under the uncertain crisis of COVID-19.
