Abstract

The growth and progression of multiple myeloma (MM) are associated with various mechanisms that allow tumor cells to escape from immune surveillance. Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) are suggested to play an important role in tumor escape, but their role in MM remains unclear. The present study aimed to analyze the influence of hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) mobilization on the frequency of circulating MDSCs in MM patients.
