Abstract

The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)’s scholarly activity requirement for emergency medicine residents has been unevenly applied across emergency medicine residency programs (EMRPs). Our study seeks to understand EMRPs’ decision-making process surrounding the implementation of this requirement, and evaluate how well the heterogeneous approaches across residencies are advertised to potential applicants and other EMRPs.
