Abstract
Introduction and aims of the study: Hysteroscopy is considered to be the gold standard for uterine cavity evaluation. However, remains controversial as a routine process in infertile patients. As for female infertility assessment, gynecological endoscopy’s role is really crucial. Especially in cases of repeated fertilization treatment failures, hysteroscopy constitutes the appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedure, offering the opportunity for see-and-treat management. We report a case of unsuspected endometrial malignancy in a patient undergoing hysteroscopy because of recurrent in vitro fertilization failures.
