Abstract
Experimental studies were carried out on fully developed steady electro-osmotic flow in the specially designed donut channel. Interface current in electric double layer (EDL) is a main driving force of the electro-osmotic flow. We examined the various characteristics of the interface current. The effect of the pressure driven flow superimposed to the osmotic flow on the interface current was studied. The unsteady characteristics of the electroosmotic flow of NaCl solution, time dependence of the flow rate and the electric current, were also investigated.
